Title: Legitimacy of this lotto? The Godfather $50

This is a $50 lotto hosted by a new seller (~2 mos. old) The Godfather. He has perfect feedback, obviously, because he requires early finalize and 5/5 reviews to participate in lottos.

Anyways, the listing says the drawing will occur once all 50 tickets are sold.

There are currently 11 pages of feedback listed for this particular product, indicating at least 110 sales. This is not even including people who, like myself, bought multiple tickets. The oldest reviews are over a month old.

I don't want to make any accusations. I have emailed the seller. And I apologize in advance if this causes any unnecessary negative fallout.

But what is going on here?! It seems to me like he's overselling a raffle, getting great reviews and feedback, and collecting money. And no indications of closing the raffle soon and calling a winner. It seems incredibly dirty to me. Fortunately I only sunk 2 bitcoins of pocket change into this, but I get the feeling this guy is cashing out hundreds and laughing. Brand new seller, does nothing but raffles, minimal indications that the raffles ever have winners.

I can't really tell about the legitimacy, but i'm curious to know why he has no active listings now.

All the lottos are rigged to fake accounts.

All the lottos are rigged to fake accounts.

I always kinda thought the same, but during the 4/20 sale I was ordering the shit out of lotto tickets and actually won two, including one from the godfather. It was only for like $10 or $20... and there's always the risk of fake accounts winning, not saying order a bunch of his tickets or anything, but I do feel the need to say I've been paid out by the godfather :)

I agree with fred5. :) I have also previously won playing Lotto with the Godfather. It was either $10 or $20, but nevertheless, I won! I've used them a few times now, whenever I have any left over Bitcoins after going shopping. Never had a problem and friendly communication. :)

Hi there everyone,

In the last week I had a family emergency and had to leave town immediately on Wednesday last week. Due to too much going on I did not have time to access Silk Road and my account was put into "Vacation Mode" and I have now finally found some time to get online and activate all my lotteries again. I am traveling back home today and will be resuming business as usual. For those of you who question the legitimacy of my lotto games - I post all winners usernames on my profile for ALL to see, feel free to message a few of them about them winning my lotteries.

The reason why there is so much feedback for each of my lotteries is because I do not create a new listing when the lottery closes. I re-open the same listing.

Best regards,
The Godfather
